Mind if I borrow your cape, Superman?

I'd just like to let out a big, crazy, rather loud "WOOP WOOP!" right now.I've just finished my last day at work, and now have a very leisurely five days off.

What will I be up to I hear you ask?

Well, I have a lot of fun filled days planned ahead. I always begin with good intentions of documenting my fun with the aid of my camera, but sadly end up either; forgetting the camera, the battery, or even just to take photos in general.

I'd like to start with an addition of lifestyle posts on my blog. Including day trips I've had out etc. My blog is usually filled with all things beauty and fashion related - but, if you would like to see more things I've been up to. Just let me know in the comments below and hopefully I'll begin putting up the odd 'My Week in Photos' posts.

On a very spontaneous shopping trip the other day with my sister, we popped into Primark so that she could grab some tights. You know the drill - you can't just nip into Primark without doing the obligatory 'Lap-Of-Honour' (as I like to call it). I had a little dash round, as it was intended to be a quick trip, and happily stumbled across the following cape.

Straight into the basket it went!

Blueberry Compote

The weather in England has really been a bit hit and miss as of late. The sunshine can never seem to make its mind up whether it fancies making an appearance or just being down right lazy and hiding away. Nine times out of ten, it tends to be the latter.

There has been many of mornings I've woken up and not had a clue what to wear. When the sun has been out, so I've worn something a little cooler, only to go out, the sun then decides to go back to bed - leaving me shivering and scantily clad. Weather fail.

Primark are currently stocking these lovely chunky knit cardigans. I bought mine a couple of months ago and have been wearing it ever since! It's great to wear on these 'not-so-sure-about-the-weather' days, with it being warm enough to snuggle up in, but it's also easily enough to fold up and pop into your handbag if it gets a little warmer.

They do quite a few lovely seasonal colours. My sister picked up the camel coloured cardigan, and I went with the navy blue...

Strolling with the Hill Billies

I'm not sure if I've broken all the unwritten rules of fashion with this little outfit post, or if I've just completely made up my own rules all together. Either way, I was quite pleased with my pattern clashing 'hill billy' look (as I like to call it).

Some people state not to pattern clash, but I couldn't resit teaming this checked shirt and leopard print head band together. It just felt right.

The shirt itself is actually from the Men's section in Primark - I just bought it in a size XS yo make sure it fit OK. As most of you who regularly read my blog will know, I love customising and wearing men's clothing. It adds a little bit of creativeness and edge to an outfit.
