White Blazer

Blazer: H&M  |  Dress: New Look  |  Pendant: Dorothy Perkins  |  Rings: Primark, Dorothy Perkins

I have actually fallen in love with my white blazer. I recently purchased it from H&M, and ever since that glorious day it arrived in the post, its safe to say that it has been a staple item in my wardrobe. I can literally throw it on over anything, and it can smarten up any outfit. I think it looks great for a night time look when you want to dress up, or for a casual look for daytime wear. Either way, I've been rocking it most weekends.

With the colder months quickly approaching, I figured I would need something to slip on over my outfits on a night out. There is nothing worse than spending your time shivering in a queue outside a bar/club. Call me old, but I think I'm getting to that stage where warmth is over-riding the importance of looking good. I can feel my sensible head coming along! Ha, ha!

What are your staple wardrobe items for this Autumn?

Paperdreams Honey

Blouse: Primark  |  Maxi Dress: New Look  |  Rings: Primark, Dorothy Perkins

I bought some new MAC makeup this week and decided to try out my new Blushbaby Blusher and Hue lipstick. I must say that I'm a fan of both, although, nothing can top my all round favourite MAC lipstick, which is of course; Shy Girl. However, i do think that Hue is a lovely nude pink and looks great for day wear as well as evening wear.

Today, I went to go and finally see 'Friends with Benefits' at the cinema. If you haven't already seen it - it's a must! It's not often that I enjoy rom-coms, I'm much more of a boys-film type of girl. I love a bit of guns and action and usually tend to ditch the very predictable romantic comedy's. I thought this was really good though, as it wasn't your run of the mill rom-com. I'll not spoil the fun for you, but if you haven't already, you must o and watch it with the girls.

I really want to go and see 'The Change Up' (I think it's called) with Ryan Reynolds. The whole concept of the film reminds me of Lindsay Lohan's Freaky Friday, with the whole body swapping escapades. Another film on my 'To Watch' list is Final Destination 5 - you can't beat a bit of gore.

Has anyone seen this films and would you recommend them?

Not long until Breaking Dawn comes out! Excited!

Chain Reaction

I feel a little 'Biker-chic' in this outfit. I'm not entirely sure if I'm overly keen on it. But, hey ho! It was just something I threw on quickly with very little planning. I was all ready to meet my friend for a good old pub tea. Show me the Bacon Carbonara! Mmmmm.. Not to forget the Belgium Waffle drizzled in chocolate sauce for pudding.

Love birds

I'm sure most of you will recognise this blouse from my Wishlist - January Edition post. I was really excited when I laid my eyes on it in my local New Look! I just had to purchase the little beauty after previous weeks of lusting over it.

Isn't it pretty? Annnd... It has cute little birdies on it too.

Bird chiffon blouse - New Look
Body Con skirt - Topshop

I also really love these boots. My boyfriend bought them for me back in August for my birthday. He spotted them after knowing how much I've been craving the Vivienne Westwood pirate boots, and thought they were a good dupe to be going on with.

As much as I love the Viv boots, I don't think I could justify spending £345.00 on them. This makes me sad.

Wishlist - January Edition

As part of the New Year, I've decided to add a few new features to my blog including my new monthly wish list post. I'm constantly browsing through websites online and saving little pictures of what I'm currently lusting over - and figured I would share it with you guys!

So, welcome to my first monthly wish list post! The January edition.

(To visit the links, click on the titles below)

Birdy Blouse
I'm all for a delicate and girly blouse, so when I came across this gorgeous swallow printed blouse from New Look, I instantly fell in love. This has been on my wish list for a couple of weeks now and I was lucky enough to stumble across is in my local New Look. It looks great teamed with jeggings or even tucked into a skirt or high waisted shorts. I think it's really multi-wearable and looks great worn in a casual way or more dressed up. I'll hopefully include this blouse in an upcoming outfit post for you all to see.

MAC Eyelashes
I've always fluttered my lids whilst sporting Eylure's 107 Glamour lashes. But as of late, I've been looking for something a little more dramatic (but not, draggy - lets just point that out). I've never really thought about purchasing MAC false lashes before, but after seeing a photo of a girl I know on Facebook sporting a pair and longing to achieve the same fluttery effect, I decided that these MAC eyelashes in '12' must feature on my wish list. I am, however, a MAC eyelash virgin and am rather looking forward to popping my falsies cherry. Have any of you worn these lashes before, and how do you rate them? I'd love to know.

Jeans
To be honest, as of late, I've pretty much avoided wearing jeans completely. I sometimes think you can fall into a rut with them and not wear anything else apart from jeans, jeans and more jeans. This in mind, I have fallen into the 'leggings rut' - it's all I seem to wear. With Spring to be approaching soon, I decided to add these jeans to my investment list. They'll look great with the s/s11 colour trends.

Malene Birger Bangles
After being introduced to these crazy Malene Birger bangles on the lovely Claire's blog, I was super excited to get hold of some myself. I love accessories that are a little bit different and scream 'unique' - very much like these bangles.

Leaf Coral Stone Ring
These are currently out of stock! I could cry!
If any of you are familiar with the YSL Arty Oval ring, you'll see just how similar this Topshop ring really is! I'll be checking to see if they hopefully get anymore back in stock. *Fingers crossed*
