Dupe Series: MAC Creme Cup Lipstick

I'm very aware that not all people can afford higher end makeup brands, so when we stumbled across a good bargain it's great to share, huh? Everybody loves a bargain! Especially a bargain which is a good high end duplicate.

I've decided to start up a Dupe Series on my blog, where every time I stumble across a great product which is very similar to a higher end brand - I'll do my best to tell you all about it.

First up, is one of my favourite MAC lipsticks, Creme Cup. Being a subtle creamy pink tone, Creme Cup is very wearable for all skin tones. I'm sure most of you are familiar with the makeup brand Elf. After browsing their website, I came across one of their Mineral lipsticks in the shade Runway Pink.

As you can see, the lipsticks are very similar. I do feel that they look more alike when applied to the lips. The only difference I seem to notice is that Creme Cup is a more moisturising finish, where as Runway Pink is more matte, but not at all drying.

For a huge chunk of the price off (a whole £10 less), it's no surprise why I'm loving the Elf range.

Make me Blush

I actually almost forgot to tell you lovely ladies about last months exciting eBay purchase. This blog draft was simply wallowing away in my 'draft posts list' and was almost dismissed - but alas, I hunted it down!

The reason why I'm really excited to you the low down on my new Blush Palette is because of many reasons, with one main reason. That reason being; there are some down-right amazing MAC dupes.

Here is the said palette in all it's glory; *Awaits the sound of Angels Harmonising*

And you'll never guess how much I bagged it for? A mere five British pounds. Bargain-alious if you ask me!

I'm sure you're all really excited to hear about which MAC dupes are present in this palette. Colours included dupes of; Style, Dessert Rose, Well Dressed, Melba, Pinch O' Peach, Dollymix & Coygirl. There are probably more dupes amongst all these lovely colours. But, the ones I have listed are MAC blushes I own/have owned in the past, so I have been able to compare the colours - the resemblance being uncanny.

To say this palette is such good value for money, the blushes themselves are highly pigmented. I really cannot praise this product enough.

Mulberry Alexa Dupe Alert

I'm sure that very many of you are big fans of the amazing Mulberry Alexa Bag - as am I.

I understand that it might not be every bodies cup of tea, as every bodies tastes and style are different. Some people will love it, others wont, and may think it's overrated. I must admit, price-wise, at a whopping £900 the Alexa bag is very expensive. Even after weeks of saving, I really couldn't justify spending that much on a handbag - no matter how much I loved it.

No disrespect to those who do like to splash out on lovely designer handbags, but the way I always like to look at it, is "£900 could take me on holiday for a couple of weeks, or go towards a new car" etc. But, that's just me. Every bodies likes are different.


My lovely boyfriend spied this beauty whilst out shopping a couple of weeks ago, and kindly picked it up for me for my Valentines present;

The brand of this bag is called 'Cheeky Budha' and can be found on sale in the store Bank.

I can honestly say I think it's the best dupe of the Alexa in which I've come across. I think the retail price for this bag is around £40.00. I'm not exactly sure though as it was a gift from my boyfriend.
